Fuel System Upgrade

Flowco executed a complete forecourt upgrade including dispenser replacement, installation of new pipework and sumps, vent stack and canopy repairs and extensive electrical works to bring systems up to current standards. Additional works included cathodic protection and earthing, as well as full cosmetic upgrades to forecourt equipment, store fronts and forecourt line marking 

Through this project Flowco also installed and commissioned Vapour Recovery Stage 2 (VR2) equipped bowsers, adding an environmental benefit by capturing displaced fuel vapours during refuelling. Leveraging its in-house expertise, Flowco calibrated and commissioned the VR2 system to ensure full compliance. 

To support product conversions such as switching from motor spirit to diesel, Flowco undertook full fuel quality management, including tank cleaning to cycle out residual product and ensure a clean transition. Fuel samples were lab-analysed to confirm specifications were met, maintaining strict quality assurance standards.   

Delivered in line with the retailer’s strict health and safety guidelines resulting in a modernised fuel systems that offer improved reliability, faster refuelling, reduced reactive maintenance, enhanced fuel accuracy and a refreshed brand presence – all supporting a stronger customer experience and higher throughput.
